Ariane's
Sunset
The
air along the northern part of Corsica was still, devoid of any
wind at all. This is not a usual occurrence in Corsica, which is
an island in between Africa and the southern coast of Europe. Warm
winds blowing from the south are the norm, and the mountainous quality
of the land almost always assures the presence of wind. Devoid of
any breeze, the Mediterranean was very still, with patterns seemingly
etched on it's surface. This image was taken at sunset (around 9:00
P.M.) just outside Ariane's studio near the top of the village of
San Antonino. |
