Scalini Clouds

  This is probably the most fortuitous shot I have ever taken.. It is the ultimate "grab shot"; While having a fantastic meal with family and friends at 'I Scalini' one evening in San Antonino, the combination of cloud formation, over mountains, under sunset lighting presented itself to me literally in mid-meal. In order not to disturb the guardians of manners and decorum! I managed to hold my 8008 about three feet from my face and in the space of about 5-6 seconds squeeze off three shots of the clouds and mountains under the setting sunlight.
